FAVORITE RACE: Im pretty new to track racing so I really dont have alot to choose from. I would say my favorite race so far is the AVC in San Jose because as soon as your done racing you can go have a beer in the stands. Its a pretty cool crowd that shows up to.

FAVORITE TRAINING RIDE: Living in Bakersfield I do most of my training on a long straight section of bike path that I have marked for different distances. So I would say my favorite training days are any time I can get down the the ADT center for few days. Its always fun for me when I get to actually train on the track.

AVERAGE DAY CONSISTS OF: Being a full time firefighter my days vary a great deal. When Im off work I will try to be training by 10am and it will usually last about three hours. After that I will just go home and relax with my wife and play with the dogs. Some days are double days with weights in the evening. When Im at work anything can happen but usually we go to the gym in the morning and I will do a roller workout in the evening. There are times when I am interrupted during training or have just been to tired from a tough fire to get it done.

ANY MENTORS:
I dont really have a mentor.

FAVORITE RACE FOOD: I love a good steak with some pasta and butter garlic sauce.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN A RACE:
I have been pretty lucky to not have to many bad experiences. I have only been racing for 2 years so I dont have to many storys yet. If I had to pick one I would say 2007 CA state championships. During my keirin heat I jumped from the back of the pack down in the sprinters lane and right as we were coming into turn one the guy at the front came down on me and chopped my wheel. I ended up crashing and breaking my front wheel but I was ok. The bummer was there was no rep.

WHAT'S ON YOUR KITCHEN TABLE RIGHT NOW:
Some magazines and my backpack.

IF YOU WEREN'T AN ATHLETE, WHAT WOULD YOU BE: I kind of did it backwards. I started my career and then became an athlete. If I wasnt competing full time on the track I would definitely get back in to racing motocross. I just really like to be competing and its alot of fun.
